Abstract

In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for analyzing a mobile content website, generating keywords that represent relevant terms used on the content website, and presenting a marketing program associated with the keywords to a mobile content sponsor.

Claims

1. A system for mobile campaign creation, the system comprising one or more computers having computer readable mediums having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of the one or more computers, causes the system to perform the steps of:

analyzing a mobile content website;

generating keywords corresponding to contextual information on the mobile content website;

identifying a first type and a second type of cellular phone, wherein a rendering capability of the first type of cellular phone is different from a rendering capability of the second type of cellular phone, wherein a first advertising content for display on the mobile content website requires the rendering capability of the first type of cellular phone to be rendered thereon and wherein a second advertising content for display on the mobile content website requires the rendering capability of the second type of cellular phone to be rendered thereon, wherein the first advertising content is incompatible with the second type of cellular phone and the second advertising content is incompatible with the first type of cellular phone;

creating a marketing program based at least in part on an association of the keywords and the mobile content website; and

presenting the marketing program and data corresponding to the first type and second type of cellular phone to a mobile content sponsor, wherein the mobile content sponsor is associated with the first advertising content and the second advertising content.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the analysis of the mobile content website includes summarizing the keywords used on the mobile content website.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the contextual information is full text within mobile content website.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the contextual information is one or more outbound links within mobile content website.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the contextual information is one or more inbound links to the mobile content website.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein the contextual information is text associated with the inbound links.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the contextual information is a telephone listing corresponding to a merchant business.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the generated keywords have bid amounts associated therewith.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the generated keywords have suggested creative advertising content associated therewith.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein the generated keywords have target URLs associated therewith.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the marketing program further includes an expected value associated with the generated keywords.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the rendering capability is selected from the list consisting of:

(a) make of cellular phone;

(b) model of cellular phone;

(c) operating system of cellular phone;

(d) operating system version of cellular phone;

(e) MIDP support;

(f) polyphonic ringtone support;

(g) ringtone support;

(h) video download support;

(i) video streaming support;

(j) WAP push support;

(k) WML support;

(l) wallpaper support;

(m) XHTML support;

(n) touch screen support; and

(o) a display resolution.
