1. A method executed by a computer processor, the method comprising:

  • causing an interactive advertising session to be presented to a user of a computing device, wherein the interactive advertising session comprises multiple different advertisements presented to the user in a sequence, and wherein advertisements in the multiple different advertisements are selected for presentation to the user based at least in part upon interactions of the user with respect to previously displayed advertisements in the sequence; and

    charging at least one owner of at least one advertisement presented in the interactive advertising session based at least in part upon an interaction of the user with respect to an advertisement that was presented earlier in the sequence to the user when compared to the at least one advertisement.
