Abstract

Structures and protocols are presented for using or otherwise relating to a first mobile device (a smartphone or tablet computer or wearable device, e.g.) configured to be shared by two or more parties such that a subset of the parties may be addressed selectively (in content directed to such parties, e.g.) in a cost-effective manner.

Claims

1. A communication system comprising:

one or more articles of manufacture including

transistor-based circuitry configured to receive a first communication that includes both a network routing tag and a recipient designation signal including an electrical node set upon which a voltage configuration manifests the network routing tag;

transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain a determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses a first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies a first mobile device configured to be shared by two or more parties that include the first party and a second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party, the recipient designation signal selectively indicating whether or not any of the two or more parties are intended to receive the first communication including an electrical node set upon which a voltage configuration manifests the recipient designation signal; and

transistor-based circuitry configured to transmit the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party including an electrical node set upon which a voltage configuration manifests the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party, the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

transistor-based circuitry configured to map a response protocol comprising an operational parameter to a specific recipient party identifier and to a context of a specific communication having an identified initiator, the specific communication being the first communication, the target identifier of the first communication being the specific recipient party identifier, the identified initiator being a third party.

2. The communication system of claim 1 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least being responsive to whether or not any one of the two or more parties has been designated as a default user of the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

3. The communication system of claim 1 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

transistor-based circuitry constructed and arranged to configure a component of a subscriber identity module with a specific voltage configuration that manifests wireless signal content of the first communication aboard the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

4. A communication system comprising:

one or more articles of manufacture including

transistor-based circuitry configured to receive a first communication that includes both a network routing tag and a recipient designation signal;

transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain a determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses a first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies a first mobile device configured to be shared by two or more parties that include the first party and a second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party, the recipient designation signal selectively indicating whether or not any of the two or more parties are intended to receive the first communication; and

transistor-based circuitry configured to transmit the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party.

6. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

an integrated circuit (IC) chip, the IC chip having a first portion and a second portion and a third portion, the first portion of the IC chip being the transistor-based circuitry configured to receive the first communication that includes both the network routing tag and the recipient designation signal, the second portion of the IC chip being the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party, the third portion of the IC chip being the transistor-based circuitry configured to transmit the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party.

9. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to decide either to include the second party identifier in the recipient designation signal if the target identifier of the first communication indicates the second party or to exclude the second party identifier from the recipient designation signal if the target identifier does not indicate the second party being responsive to whether or not any one of the two or more parties has been designated as a default user of the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties and being responsive to whether or not any one of the two or more parties that has not been designated as a default user of the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties is online.

10. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

transistor-based circuitry configured to decide either to include a third party identifier in the recipient designation signal if the first communication indicates a third party or to exclude the third party identifier from the recipient designation signal, the two or more parties including the third party.

11. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party wherein the first communication is unidirectional.

12. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party wherein the first communication is bidirectional.

13. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party wherein the recipient designation signal includes an account-specific header that identifies to which of the two or more parties the first communication is directed.

14. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party being responsive to a determination whether or not the first communication lacks a party indication tag.

15. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

transistor-based circuitry configured to cause the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties to undergo a wireless linkage handover to or from a wireless local area network (WLAN) hotspot.

25. The communication system of claim 4 further comprising:

the transistor-based circuitry configured to obtain the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

transistor-based circuitry configured to identify the first party with a first virtual mobile number that corresponds to a single real mobile number that uniquely identifies a portable device; and

transistor-based circuitry configured to identify the second party with a second virtual mobile number that corresponds to the single real mobile number that uniquely identifies the portable device, the portable device being the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

34. A communication system comprising:

one or more articles of manufacture including

means for receiving a first communication that includes both a network routing tag and a recipient designation signal;

means for obtaining a determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses a first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies a first mobile device configured to be shared by two or more parties that include the first party and a second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party, the recipient designation signal selectively indicating whether or not any of the two or more parties are intended to receive the first communication; and

means for transmitting the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party.

35. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for causing the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties to undergo a wireless linkage handover to or from a wireless local area network (WLAN) hotspot.

36. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for implementing a virtual device identifier recognition module in firmware of a particular device, the particular device being or not being the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

37. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for mapping a response protocol comprising an operational parameter to a specific recipient party identifier and to a context of a specific communication having an identified initiator, the specific communication being the first communication, the target identifier of the first communication being the specific recipient party identifier, the identified initiator being a third party.

38. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for deciding whether or not to respond silently to a specific communication partly based on whether or not the specific communication is anonymous and partly based on whether or not the specific communication includes a virtual mobile number, the specific communication being the first communication.

39. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for configuring a particular routing tag as a telephone number associated with a land line, the particular routing tag being associated with the first party but not with the second party, the particular routing tag not being the network routing tag.

40. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for configuring a wireless transmission to include an interpersonal text message obtained as a component of the first communication.

41. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for configuring a wireless transmission to include a channel establishment request obtained as a component of the first communication.

42. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for associating a handset with the network routing tag aboard the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties, the mobile device being the handset.

43. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for obtaining a digitally expressed determination whether or not an integer is evenly divisible by X as a component of obtaining an indication whether or not an entity identifier is apparently independent, X>

1, the integer being a component of the entity identifier, the digitally expressed determination comprising an intrinsic property of the entity identifier, the entity identifier referring to at least one of the first party or the second party or the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

44. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for initiating an investigation protocol effective to determine whether a physical destination corresponding to a digital identifier can be found, the physical destination comprising the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

45. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for identifying the first party with a first virtual mobile number that corresponds to a single real mobile number that uniquely identifies a portable device; and

means for identifying the second party with a second virtual mobile number that corresponds to the single real mobile number that uniquely identifies the portable device, the portable device being the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

46. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for mapping a response protocol comprising an operational parameter to a specific recipient party identifier and to a specific anonymous communication context, the specific recipient party identifier being a component of the recipient designation signal.

47. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for transmitting a trigger signal that causes at least one of a display or a speaker to present data at the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

48. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for configuring a component of a user interface with a specific voltage configuration that manifests wireless signal content of the first communication aboard the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

49. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for configuring a component of a subscriber identity module with a specific voltage configuration that manifests wireless signal content of the first communication aboard the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

50. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for configuring a component of one or more processors with a specific voltage configuration that manifests an executable protocol aboard the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

51. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for executing a real-time response to user input at a particular device that comprises terminating a temporary virtual guest privilege before a guest period previously assigned to the particular device expires automatically, the particular device being the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.

52. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for obtaining a virtual guest initiation control parameter proactively establishing a first guest period starting after a programmatic delay of more than one second.

53. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for deciding whether or not to execute a response protocol mapped to a first recipient party identifier and to a phone-call context;

means for deciding whether or not to execute a second response protocol mapped to the first recipient party identifier and to a human-readable-text-transmission context;

means for deciding whether or not to execute a response protocol mapped to a second recipient party identifier and to the phone-call context; and

means for deciding whether or not to execute a response protocol mapped to the second recipient party identifier and to the human-readable-text-transmission context.

76. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for identifying the first party with a first virtual mobile number that corresponds to a single real mobile number that uniquely identifies a portable device;

means for identifying the second party with a second virtual mobile number that corresponds to the single real mobile number that uniquely identifies the portable device, the portable device being the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties;

means for executing a real-time response to user input at the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that comprises terminating a temporary virtual guest privilege before a guest period previously assigned to the particular device expires automatically; and

means for mapping a response protocol comprising an operational parameter to a specific recipient party identifier and to a context of a specific communication having an identified initiator, the specific communication being the first communication, the target identifier of the first communication being the specific recipient party identifier, the identified initiator being a third party.

77. The communication system of claim 34 further comprising:

the means for obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

means for implementing a virtual device identifier recognition module in firmware of the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties;

means for causing the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties to undergo a wireless linkage handover to or from a wireless local area network (WLAN) hotspot;

means for configuring a component of a subscriber identity module with a specific voltage configuration that manifests wireless signal content of the first communication aboard the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties; and

means for associating a handset with the network routing tag aboard the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties, the mobile device being the handset.

54. A communication method comprising:

receiving a first communication that includes both a network routing tag and a recipient designation signal;

obtaining a determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses a first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies a first mobile device configured to be shared by two or more parties that include the first party and a second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party, the recipient designation signal selectively indicating whether or not any of the two or more parties are intended to receive the first communication; and

transmitting the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party.

58. The communication method of claim 54 further comprising:

the obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

deciding whether or not to respond silently to a specific communication partly based on whether or not the specific communication is anonymous and partly based on whether or not the specific communication includes a virtual mobile number, the specific communication being the first communication.

71. The communication method of claim 54 further comprising:

the obtaining the determination whether or not the first communication selectively addresses the first party that is partly based on whether or not the network routing tag identifies the first mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties that include the first party and the second party and partly based on whether or not the recipient designation signal selectively indicates the second party including at least

executing a real-time response to user input at a particular device that comprises terminating a temporary virtual guest privilege before a guest period previously assigned to the particular device expires automatically, the particular device being the mobile device configured to be shared by the two or more parties.
