1. A processing system for sensing, comprising:
- a sensor module comprising sensor circuitry coupled to a plurality of sensor electrodes, the sensor module configured to acquire sensing signals with the plurality of sensor electrodes; and
a determination module configured to;
determine, from the sensing signals, first positional information corresponding to a first gesture while a host device is in low power mode,determine, based on the first positional information and while the host device is in the low power mode, that the first gesture is deliberate input,send, in response to determining that the first gesture is deliberate input, a wake signal to the host device to switch the host device out of the low power mode, andsend the first positional information to the host device after the host device receives the wake signal.

The processing system further includes a determination module that is configured to determine, from the sensing signals, a positional information for a gesture while a host device is in low power mode, determine, based on the positional information and while the host device is in the low power mode, that the gesture is deliberate input, send, in response to determining that the gesture is deliberate input, a wake signal to the host device to switch the host device out of the low power mode, and send the positional information to the host device after the host device receives the wake signal.
