1. A method for visualizing an E field comprising:
- utilizing an E Field sensor to sense charge in a volume;
processing the output of the sensor to produce a mosaic corresponding point by point to the detected charges and the location of the charges such that the mosaic constitutes a visualization of the pattern of the E Field in the volume, with the mosaic having image or picture elements correlated in space to corresponding charges that generate the E Field.

Abstract
A method and system is provided for visualization of E fields in which a high impedance low noise amplification system is coupled to an E field sensor for real time imaging of the E field in either one, two or three dimensions. The sensitivity of the system is enhanced by directional antennas and applications include particle counting and hand gesture recognition.
