65. Method for manufacturing a mirror for a vehicle, comprising the steps of:

A) providing at least one ultra-thin hardened first glass sheet with a maximum thickness of 1.0 mm, B) arranging a mirror layer on at least one front side of the first glass sheet, C) successively laying onto each other the first glass sheet provided with the mirror layer, a fastening layer comprising at least one polymer, wherein the fastening layer comprises at least one fire-retardant additive, and a hardened second glass sheet with a maximum thickness of 0.7 mm, and D) laminating by means of heating the assembly formed during step C), thus forming the mirror.
