Abstract

A particular organization may undertake a plurality of different privacy campaigns, processing activities, etc. that involve the collection and storage of personal data. The system may be configured to collect customer satisfaction data, for example: (1) as part of a data subject access request submission form; (2) when providing one or more results of a data subject access request to the data subject; or (3) at any other suitable time. The customer satisfaction data may be collected in the form of a suitable survey, free-form response questionnaire, etc. (e.g., thumbs up vs. thumbs down, etc.). Additionally, by integrating a feedback survey with the data subject access request process, the system may increase a number of consumers that provide responses to the feedback survey. In particular embodiments, the system is configured to require the requestor to respond to the feedback survey prior to submitting the data subject access request.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented data processing method for facilitating feedback with respect to a data subject access request, the method comprising:

receiving a data subject access request from a requestor comprising one or more request parameters;

processing the request by identifying one or more pieces of personal data associated with the requestor, the one or more pieces of personal data being stored in one or more data repositories associated with a particular organization;

automatically providing a feedback survey to the requestor;

receiving a completed version of the feedback survey from the requestor;

calculating a feedback score for the particular organization based at least in part on the completed version of the feedback survey; and

digitally storing the feedback score in computer memory.

2. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 1, wherein the feedback survey is provided in a message confirming receipt of the data subject access request by the requestor.

3. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 1, wherein the feedback survey is provided along with the one or more pieces of personal data identified to be associated with the requestor.

4. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 1, wherein:

the feedback survey includes a net promoter survey question, and

calculating the feedback score further comprises;

calculating a net promoter score based on the completed version of the feedback survey.

5. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 4, wherein the feedback survey further includes a free-form questionnaire for the requestor to provide textual input.

6. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 1, further comprising:

automatically providing a feedback survey to the requestor that includes a set of questions for a plurality of question/answer pairings;

receiving a completed version of the feedback survey from the requestor that includes respective answers for each of the questions of the plurality of question/answer pairings; and

calculating the feedback score based at least in part on the question/answer pairings of the completed version of the feedback survey.

7. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 6, wherein calculating the feedback score further comprises:

assigning a weighting factor to each of the question/answer pairings of the plurality of question/answer pairings; and

calculating the feedback score based at least in part on the question/answer pairings and the associated weighting factor for each of the question/answer pairings.

8. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 1,

wherein automatically providing the feedback survey to the requestor further comprises generating a secure link between one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and a computing device associated with the requestor to prevent outside access to data provided in the feedback survey by the requestor, and

wherein the completed version of the feedback survey is received from the requestor via the secure link between the one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and the computing device associated with the requestor.

9. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 1, further comprising:

in response to receiving the completed version of the feedback survey from the requestor, automatically identifying, by one or more computer processors, one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey; and

in response to identifying, by one or more computer processors, the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey, automatically anonymizing the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey.

The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 9, wherein automatically anonymizing the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey comprises facilitating deletion of the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey.

11. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving a plurality of data subject access requests from a plurality of requestors;

automatically providing a feedback survey to the requestor of each of the plurality of data subject access requests;

receiving a completed version of the feedback survey from the requestor of each of the plurality of data subject access requests;

calculating an aggregate feedback score based at least in part on the completed version of the feedback survey for each of the plurality of data subject access requests; and

digitally storing the aggregate feedback score in computer memory.

12. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 11, further comprising:

comparing the aggregate feedback score to a threshold aggregate score; and

in response to determining that the aggregate feedback score is below the threshold aggregate feedback score, automatically notifying the particular organization that the aggregate feedback score is below the threshold aggregate feedback score.

13. A computer-implemented data processing method for facilitating feedback with respect to a data subject access request, the method comprising:

receiving a data subject access request from a requestor comprising one or more request parameters;

processing the request by identifying one or more pieces of personal data associated with the requestor, the one or more pieces of personal data being stored in one or more data repositories associated with a particular organization;

automatically providing a feedback survey to the requestor;

receiving a completed version of the feedback survey from the requestor;

in response to receiving the completed version of the feedback survey from the requestor, automatically identifying, by one or more computer processors, one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey;

in response to identifying, by one or more computer processors, the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey, automatically anonymizing the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey; and

digitally storing the anonymized completed version of the feedback survey in computer memory.

The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 13, wherein automatically anonymizing the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey comprises facilitating deletion of the one or more pieces of personal data included with the completed version of the feedback survey.

15. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 13, further comprising:

calculating a feedback score for the particular organization based at least in part on the completed version of the feedback survey; and

digitally storing the feedback score in computer memory.

16. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 15, wherein:

the feedback survey includes a net promoter survey question, and

calculating the feedback score further comprises;

calculating a net promoter score based on the completed version of the feedback survey.

17. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 13,

wherein automatically providing the feedback survey to the requestor further comprises generating a secure link between one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and a computing device associated with the requestor to prevent outside access to data provided in the feedback survey by the requestor, and

wherein the completed version of the feedback survey is received from the requestor via the secure link between the one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and the computing device associated with the requestor.

18. A computer-implemented data processing method for facilitating feedback with respect to a data subject access request, the method comprising:

receiving a data subject access request from a requestor comprising one or more request parameters;

automatically providing a first feedback survey to the requestor in a message confirming receipt of the data subject access request by the requestor;

receiving a completed version of the first feedback survey from the requestor;

processing the request by identifying one or more pieces of personal data associated with the requestor, the one or more pieces of personal data being stored in one or more data repositories associated with a particular organization;

automatically providing a second feedback survey to the requestor along with the one or more pieces of personal data identified to be associated with the requestor;

receiving a completed version of the second feedback survey from the requestor; and

digitally storing the completed version of the first feedback survey and the completed version of the second feedback survey in computer memory.

19. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 18, further comprising:

calculating a feedback score for the particular organization based at least in part on the first feedback survey and the completed version of the second feedback survey; and

digitally storing the feedback score in computer memory.

20. The computer-implemented data processing method of claim 18, further comprising:

generating a first secure link for the first feedback survey automatically provided to the requestor, the first secure link being generated between one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and a computing device associated with the requestor to prevent outside access to data provided in the first feedback survey by the requestor, wherein the completed version of the first feedback survey is received from the requestor via the first secure link between the one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and the computing device associated with the requestor; and

generating a second secure link for the second feedback survey automatically provided to the requestor, the second secure link being generated between one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and the computing device associated with the requestor to prevent outside access to data provided in the second feedback survey by the requestor, wherein the completed version of the second feedback survey is received from the requestor via the second secure link between the one or more processors associated with the feedback survey and the computing device associated with the requestor.
