TQP Development [NPE] filed six separate suits against Consumer Cellular, Fiserv, HomeAway, Skype, Sony, and Virgin Mobile, alleging that the defendants’ websites infringe a patent related to encrypted data transmission.  TQP, founded by Erich Spangenberg, has filed over 40 previous suits since December 2008 against over 100 defendants including Dell, Google, LinkedIn, and Salesforce.
