In April, RPX covered the recordation of security interests, granted to the same funder in late March 2022 by an apparently unrelated group of six patent holders. Now that both Eight kHz LLC (see here) and Quantum Imaging LLC (here) have launched litigation, each doing do over the past week or so, all six of those entities have become patent plaintiffs, joining six others who filed suit in the back half of 2021 with the apparent backing of the same funder.
