May 10, 2011-  ICAP Patent Brokerage announced that Atwater Parters has become the latest entity to offer a covenant not to sue at its upcoming Fall auction.  Atwater Partners has filed three suits against providers and suppliers of DSL related equipment and components including Broadcom, Cisco, Lantiq, AT&T and Alcatel-Lucent.  Atwater acquired five issued US patents (including those currently in suit) from Symmetricom in April 2010.  ICAP claims the patents relate to the ITU-T 998 standard for bonding DSL lines.
