New Patent Litigation

The Eastern District of North Carolina complaint again targets the provision of computers that include a Serial ATA interface. Shamrock received the asserted patents from Intellectual Ventures LLC (IV) in an assignment dated in December 2017, with public records suggesting a more complicated connection between IV and the plaintiff.

New Patent Litigation

While the second case has been filed in the ever more popular Western District of Texas, the selection of the Austin division has landed the litigation before a different judge.
