NPE Sues 13 More Online Retailers

Select Retrieval [NPE] filed suit against Alice.com, Bellacor.com, Bluestem Brands, Christopher & Banks, Discount Office Items, Everything2go.com, Gander Direct Marketing, The Guild, IDW, Jockey, Mason Companies, National Business Furniture, and Rockler Retail Group over a patent related to graphical representation of hierarchical database records.  Select Retrieval has filed four prior suits since June 2011 against over 120 defendants including BarnesandNoble.com, Dell, J&R Electronics, LG, Pantech, Philips, Radio Shack, Staples, Walgreen’s and Wal-Mart. The patents-in-suit were controlled by Lowry Software, Cornus Corporation, Stratia Concepts and Unifi Scientific Advances before being assigned to Select Retrieval in February 2011.  9/15, Western District of Wisconsin, 3:2011cv00637.
