Newly formed Micro Design LLC sued seven companies for alleged infringement of a patent related to communication of commands between a microprocessor and a memory co-processor (7,437,535). Micro Design contends that Acer, ASUS, Cray, Dell, Fujitsu, Lenovo, and NEC are making, using, and selling products that contain microprocessor/co-processor configurations covered by the claims of the patent-in-suit.
